Born and raised in Syracuse, New York, Caleb graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 2009. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013, where he achieved both Chancellor’s List and Dean’s List recognition. During his undergraduate studies, Caleb interned with the Law Office of Charles Morgan Jr., a respected criminal defense firm in Charlotte, gaining hands-on experience working alongside a veteran criminal defense attorney.
Caleb attended Charlotte School of Law on academic merit and leadership scholarships. While in law school, he was a member of the Entrepreneurial Practice Portal Program, authoring legal blog articles for The Cochran Firm, and consistently earned placement on the Dean’s List. He graduated in 2016 with honors for his extensive pro bono service in the Syracuse community, completed while serving as a Law Clerk for the Honorable James C. Tormey, Fifth District Chief Administrative Judge and Justice of the Supreme and Family Courts.
After law school, Caleb worked as an Associate Law Clerk at Costello, Cooney & Fearon in Syracuse, assisting in a wide range of legal matters. Prior to joining Tom Anelli & Associates, he served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained significant courtroom experience and valuable insight into the prosecutorial process—experience he now uses to his clients’ advantage.
